The sun was out for the first time in a while this Saturday so I decided to pop along to Pistachios In The Park, Redhill to meet the new owners Ben and Sarah.
We had not been to the Memorial Park for a while and I was plesently surprised with everything the park now has to offer.
There is a huge area of green space that is perfect for running around and letting off some steam or pitching up in the warmer months and taking in the sun.
In a small corner there is a pretty little garden with curvy mirrors to look in, sensory wheels to spin and some cute toadstools to balance on.
The main playground had something for all ages up to teens. I only had the youngest two with me and I had to really prize them away!
We made our way into The Pavillion cafe in the heart of the park and were greeted with a beaming smile by the young boy behind the counter. We took to our seats and whilst our drinks were being prepared the boys happily played in the fab activity area that had been set up to keep little ones occupied.
We a regular visitors to Pistachios in Reigate and Bansted and love the family friendly ethos behind the chain. The new owners Ben and Sarah have really taken this on and nothing is to much trouble for them. Each customer was greeted upon arrival and a genuine effort was made to make each customers experience special.
There is an extensive menu of hot and cold food and top class coffees. My extremely tricky allergy boy was catered for with ease and enjoyed every bit of his lunch.
There is plenty of seating inside and out. We managed to easily fit our buggy inside but there is a large buggy park outside that the boys found a much more interesting use for!
We already have plans to visit their free ballet classes that and on offer on a Wednesday, and to save the mess at home I think I will be taking a visit on Shrove Tueday to sample some delicious pancakes!
They really have got everything spot on. Good food, fantastic use of space and most importantly bundles of atmosphere.
We went along to review this cafe and these are all my own honest opinions.
