The Toy Store VIP Tour

The saying ‘like a kid in a toy shop’ was bought to life when we were lucky enough to get a VIP tour round The Toy Store on Oxford Street this week.

The children came straight out of the tube station and were faced with the huge  toy shop and were in complete awe!

The first person we came across was the storm trooper just casually waving at passers by and greeting the children.

The children were then taken round the store to explore anything and everything.  I’ve never been to a toy shop that is so hands on and interactive.  There is something different for the children to try round every corner and the staff are genuinely happy to be there to help out and entertain the children.

Whilst the boys were busy making use of the great Brio table and number three was busy getting pampered at the nail station, Cody The Cub from Vtech popped his head round the corner to come and give the children a hug!

The Nerf area was a huge hit with all the children and it was hard work to prize number four away.

There were lots of remote control cars that the children could try out and this even managed to get my stroppy teen engaged.

For me this was much more than just a toy store.  With so much going on everyday and lots of special events during the holidays it is a complete day out!

If this has caught your eye then don’t miss out on the fantastic events they have going on this half term.

Cody The Cub and Mr Fun will be there everyday to meet and get some special snaps with, on 20th Feb Barbie will be there in her spectacular new spy outfit and the one I’m really gutted we will miss is the author of the Mr Men books Adam Hargreaves.  He will be there drawing personalised Little Mr and Miss pictures for your little ones.  This really is something not to be missed!
