FUL Intense Moisture Hair Mask

Over the past few years my hair has been a real issue for me. It has become thin, dull and really hard to style. I have been trying lots of ways to improve this – including using the FUL Intense Moisture Hair Mask.

I’ve avoid using masks in the past as I’ve worried they will weigh my hair down, but the FUL hair mask completely proved me wrong.

The combination of shea butter and cocount oil makes for a silky smoooth mask that is super easy to apply and smells wonderful due to the heady notes of yasmine, fruity plum and warm musk.

My hair felt light and hydrated from the very first use and after a weekly treatment for the past month and I have noticed a marked improvent to the dryness of my hair. I simply washed my hair as usual, combed the mask through and left it in overnight. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the range.

A Restful Nights Sleep With Love Boo

A restful nights sleep and children don’t really go hand and hand in this house, in fact its the complete opposite. My eldest three were all pretty good but the last two have been a different story and bedtimes are a battle ground to say the least.

You name it we have tried it and to be honest the only thing that helps a little is getting into a good routine. When things are all up the wall and there is no set routine then things are certainly that bit harder.

Our routine always consists of bath and a bedtime story to try and get them as calm and relaxed as possible; so I was extremely happy when I was asked by Love Boo to try out their Sleep & Snuggle Room Spray.  The 100% natural spay is a combination of chamomile, patchouli and lavender which makes form the perfect combination to aid a restful sleep for you little ones.

Before seeing if this worked its magic though the boys enjoyed a warm bath with the gorgeous smelling Soft & Splashy Bubble, bubble bath that comes from the vast collection of goodies that Love Boo offer. They boys both suffer from eczema and can often be irritated by bath products but this left their skin silky smooth and not an itchy patch in sight.

Super clean and ready for story time the boys excitedly took the Sleep & Snuggle Srpay and spritzed it around the room whilst I informed them it had magical powers to help them get off to sleep. A gorgeous smell engulfed the room and amazingly the boys settled with ease.

I think a combination of the spray and the promises I had implanted in their tiny minds allowed them to settle really well and has now become an important part of our bedtime routine.

Love Boo isn’t just about the children either and once they were all settled I treated myself to a long soak in the bath with their Splendidly Soothing Bath soak full of rose geranium oil, white water lily and mallow followed by soothing myself in their Body Smoother which has my favourite shea butter with its hugely mosterisiing properties it was just what I needed.

I also added a few squirts of the Sleep & Snuggle Spay to my own pillow as I often have trouble with switching off at bedtime and it was a great help.

So if you are in need of some help at bedtime or you want to give yourself a little treat then head over and take a look at the whole range as I can assure you there will be something there you will all love.

Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle:Review

Over the past few years I have come to realise that my very basic beauty routine needs a bit of an over haul as youth is no longer on my side.

I’ve always been a soap and water girl but as I’ve got older I have noticed that my skin has become a lot drier and now needs a little more tlc.

One issue though as my lack of time and to be honest want to spend hours pampering myself.

Having such a large family means that I need to be in and out of the bathroom at breakneck speed and any products that save time are a winner in my book.

This was in fact the first thing that appealed to me when I was asked to try out the Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle.

The rich moisturising cream that is infused with apricot and avocado oil needs to be applied onto wet skin straight after your shower. Once applied you simply towel dry yourself and get ready as normal.

One of the things that has always put me off of body moisturisers is the sticky feeling you can get once its applied, I was pleasantly surprised that this moisturiser leaves not tacky residue and is absorbed into the skin really quickly. Due to the way the cream is applied it is in fact the best was to keep moisture locked into the skin.

The real selling point for me though was the familiar Sanctuary Spa fragrance that lingered on my skin all day and complimented their other products beautifully.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a deep moisturising product that is quick and easy to apply whilst still offering a good level of fragrance.

Big Thank You To Buggies And Bikes

As some of you know blogging is a new thing to me.  I have only been doing it for the past couple of months and I am falling I love with my blog and all the fantastic things that come with being a blogger more than I ever thought I would.

I have had a love for social media for many years and was always putting up posts of my family and everything we get up to.  I was getting several emails a day from friends asking advice on days out and things to do with little ones; so with a push from my lovely sister my journey has begun and I’m loving every minute of it.

One of the most refreshing things I have found about blogging is the fantastic people you meet online.  I have been chatting on Twitter to the lovely Buggiesandbikes.net about my larger than life family and her experiences as a shop owner and childminder for the past fourteen years.  We can relate to the struggles of mealtimes and clearing up!!

Their fabulously different toy shop in East London offers a diverse range of toys, clothes and toiletries to name but a few.  I am planning a trip there in next few weeks whilst visiting the Museum Of Childhood.  I can then take everything in first hand and say a big thank you for the lovely handcream gift that popped through my front door the other day.

I was so happy when the little brown parcel hit the doormat.  I felt like a little kid on their birthday!  The joy of opening it was handed over to number four as he was tugging at my top pleading to open it.  Once open the wonderful lavender smell hit me and once applied to my hands the fragrance lasted for hours.

We live nearby some beautiful lavender fields and when my daugher came in from school the scent caught her and she asked if I had been there that day!

I was so impressed with the handcream I had a look on soothe-me.com and found they had an extensive range of fabulous products that would be great for all the family.  They have a section dedicated to eczema suffers; so with my husband and two youngest boys being suffers I will most certainly be purchasing some products to try out on them.

I’m at the start of this exciting journey and have already made some lovely online friends and tried some beautiful products.  I’m looking forward to each day and what it brings.
