Point And Shoot:Let Kids Be Kids
This weekend we had the opportunity to experience the wonder of Camp Bestival. I have so much to tell you all about later in the week, but today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite pictures.
To me this just sums up the glittery, carefree few days we have had when kids really could just be kids.
Giant Astronauts And Celestial Dreaming At Camp Bestival
With only a couple of days to go before we head off on our trip to Camp Bestival we have been super busy getting fancy dress outfits ready to rock the space theme they are putting on this year!
Number three has found a whole host of sparky face paints to adorn herself with and the youngest two are all set to turn themselves into aliens for the day!
They are going to feel even more at home when they arrive to see the towering 7ft astonauts that are in place with their very own sparkly sky taking pride of place in the Magic Medow.
The attraction that I am really looking forward to seeing is Celestial Dreaming instillation. As the sun sets Celestial Dreaming will radiate the burnished light of 450 points of fire arranged in incandescent orbits, celebrating the majestic brilliance of the universe.
A fabulous solar system had been created full of sparkling constellations, cosmic relics and story telling star gazers.
This is going to be truly breathtaking sight and it is just one of the many attractions I can’t wait to see this weekend.
Seeing What We Have To Look Forward To At Camp Bestival
As the weeks past I am getting more and more excited about our trip to Camp Bestival at the end of next month.
I have been avidly sitting on Pintrest getting ideas for the costumes we are going to wear, looking for some yummy recipe ideas to cook on the BBQ when arrive and getting together all the bits and pieces we need to make our trip as fun as possible.
We have seen lots of posts of the fantastic line up and can’t wait to see Mr Tumble, Fatboy Slim, Bananarama, Jess Glynne and Arrested Development to name just a few!
But after being sent this fantastic video of some footage from last year I have really got into the mood and will be counting down the minutes until we get there!

Camp Bestival Offical Blogger 2016
My face lit up this afternoon when I opened my inbox to see that I had been selected as a Camp Bestival blogger for this years festival.
It’s somewhere I have wanted to take the children for many years and I’m thrilled at the fact this opportunity has come up for us to go along and check out everything they have to offer!
Camping with four little ones is something I’ve not done before so we are going to get our preparations underway and will let you all know how we are getting along before the big trip!
