Vertbaudet:Clothing, Homeware And So Much More

[AD] I first started shopping with Vertbaudet over twenty years ago now when I had my first. I loved that they offered something a little different to your run of the mill catalogues at the time and their clean and simple lines made for a range of childrens clothes that reflected their chic french background.

For some reason over the years they had fallen from my radar a little and when I was asked to work with then at the beginning of the year I was astounded at just how much they now offer and how the brand has grown into something pretty amazing.

They offer a huge range of clothing from babies to teens and even have a range of maternity and nursing wear which is something that is always tricky to find.

Not only can you find some great pieces for the little ones wardrobes but you can also get some gorgeous homeware pieces for their rooms that are as individual and beautiful as their clothing plus a fabulous range of indoor and outdoor toys.

The boys had great fun scrolling through their easy to use website and being the little fashionistas that they are selected a pair of skinny jeans each that is always their go to style. Their jeans were a brilliant fit, had plenty of stretch so that playtime wasn’t restricted and had plenty of length which is something I tend to find a problem when buying childrens jeans.

Giving the boys somewhat of a free rein  when it came to choosing an outfit can sometimes be a little dangerous and their faces immediately lit up when they saw some character sweatshirts. They are normally something I steer clear of but the retro design of the Mickey Mouse sweatshirt and the cool faded fabric on the Star Wars jumper was fabulous and they were definitely winners with all of us.

For me footwear is a tricky one to order online for children as getting a good for for them is so important. I needn’t have worried though as the suede boots that arrived for the boys were a wonderfully soft leather with good support for their feet and looked super stylish too.

All kitted out the boys were then ready to play with their new toy. I’m a sucker for wooden toys and their delightful wooden garage didn’t disappoint. It was easy to put together, looks amazing and has been one of the boys favourite toys.

I am yet to see what they have to offer by the way of homeware but it won’t be long as I already have a long wish list ready and waiting.

Bobux:Shoes For Thoses Precious Toes

I vividly recall shoe shopping trips with my Mum when I was a child. Walking into shoe shops and spotting those hugely impractical glittery heeled beauties that was oh so impractical but just so tempting.

I would be abruptly turned away from the sparkle and instead have my feet slipped into the boring grey t-bar shoes that my Mum always opted for.

The 80’s certainly didn’t cross practically with style and I am so grateful that things have come such a long way since then and I have the opportunity to allow my own children to pick shoes that will protect their little feet as well as being super stylish.

I am a huge fan of Bobux Shoes and so are my youngest two as they are the masters of crossing practicality with style.

With this fantastic weather it is sandals that are most definitely called for and this actually always fills my heat with dread! Over the years I have found very few sandals that my children firstly like the look of and secondly don’t rub!

For many summers I have actually had to resort to them having sweaty feet in trainers and this is a better option than tending to sore feet.

Bobux are always our first choice when it comes to shoes and boots but sandals are not something we had tried from them before so I was really happy when Frankie and Oscar received some to try out.

The first test came with the box opening and from the smiles on their faces I knew this one was passed with flying colours. The Soul sandals that we chose come in a beautiful tan and navy premium leather that is super supple and literally moulds to their feet. The velcro fastening to the back makes them really easy to get on and off and there is also the added benefit of additional straps across the toes and just below the ankle that can be adjusted to make for the perfect fit.

These sandals have trappsed across the beach, climbed trees and visited many playgrounds without a moan or whimper from either of them and they are certainly something I would buy time and time again.

Bobux:Comfort, Style, Made With Love

“we make shoes that are the best thing parents can do for their kids feet”

These are the words of the husband and wife mastermind behind the beautiful brand – Bobux.

For me choosing shoes for infants is a hugely important task with so many things to consider. Their delicate little feet need to be well protected, the shoe needs to be comfortable and easy to move around in and also look good.

Bobux have got this down to a tee and taken all these elements to create beautiful shoes that grow with your child.

My youngest two are super adventurous and certainly know their own minds when it comes to dressing so something that can withstand active boys whist appealing to their fashion needs is always a challenge.

Thankfully from the minute they started to scroll though the vast collection that Bobux have online their wish lists grew and grew and had to be whittled down to their favourites.

With the colder weather fast approaching we decided on a pair of boots for the both of them with Oscar going for the red Outback boot and Frankie and his quirky taste going for the silver Vault boot.

Both boots are made of super soft leather with zip fastenings and an elastic panel to the side making them really easy to get on and off.

We put the boots to the test with a walk around town and no complaint was made about sore or uncomfortable feet. So often within a few hours I have little ones moaning and groaning about shoes that rub or simply just don’t feel right.

The quality make and leather of this boots really shone through and made for an easy day for us all.

The simplistic design means they are perfect for everyday wear but can equally be dressed up for a special occasion.

They also lend themselves well to suiting both sexes.

As I said Frankie loves something alternative so the super cool silver was a big hit with him and the boldred of oscars boots really makes a statement.

The love and attention to detail really shines thoughin each pair of shoes and they arecertainly a brand we will be going back to time and time again.

Kids Clothes Arrive At Boohoo:Review

Boohoo has made waves with the online shopping world for a fair while now.

Their high fashion clothing at affordable prices has gone down really well and as someone who has bought from them before I can vouch for this myself.

When they asked me to try out the new Boohoo Kids range I knew there would be one very happy little girl that would be more than happy to give their range a try.

I was a little worried that the range would be a mini version of the adult clothing but I was really pleased when I found a good selection of age appropriate clothing that was still bang on trend.

We looked through pages of cold shoulder dresses, skinny jeans in a variety of colours, sloganed tees and sweatshirts, cute bombers, fur trimmed parkas and so much more.

Number three opted for a pair of high waisted jeans with a sloganed sweatshirt and bomber jacket to match.

The light grey sweatshirt was super cosy and a perfect fit. The real pull for her was the ‘Instaglam’ slogan which would be perfect for any social media addict such as her!

The high waisted jeans were a little on the big side as she prefers a tighter fit; but being a real skinny minnie this is something we always have issues with.

Here favourite item was the very versatile bomber jacket. The zip detail and orange lining took me back to the 90’s which has come right back round with this trend.

For me Boohoo kids have got it just right for my preteen with trendy, wearable clothes at great prices.

She is already back on their site adding bits to her Christmas list!

Lilly And Sid:Clothes That Allow Kids To Be Kids

Lilly And Sid:Clothes That Allow Kids To Be Kids

Wearability is always top of my list when it come to kids clothes.

There is nothing worse than the children being restricted by clothing as it makes for unhappy children and stressed parents.

A while ago the lovely people at Lilly and Sid sent me a few items to try and all I can say is both me and number four had smiles on our faces!

Their cotton garments are super soft and cosy, the contrasting prints and bright colours are always so eye catching and for me is one of the ways you can always spot a Lilly and Sid piece.

Bugs and dinosaurs and always a hit with number four and being able to give my little ones clothes that have things they love featured on them clearly go down well.

As well as outstanding clothes their customer service is second to none and whenever I’ve purchased anything from them the delivery is quick, efficient and I can’t imagine any ask being to big for them.

With Christmas fast approaching I can’t wait to see what items they have to slip under the tree!

Stand Out From The Crowd With Lil Sprayground Backpacks

Last year I wrote a post on the trials and tribulations of having a new bag for school every term and how I didn’t cave into the pressure.

This year however bags were needed and the search started.

Instead of going for the run of the mill superhero design or the favourited Disney princesses we looked outside the box and were really taken with the look of this new mini range from Sprayground.

Sprayground are a relatively new company that have made a rapid growth over the last few years and have become a name that several celebrities favour.

With their success on the adult market they are now reaching out to all the mini fashionistas out there with their range of mini backpacks that are perfect for little ones that like something a bit different.

The hard wearing, weather resistant material is perfect for transporting everything you need and the internal compartments make it easy for them to keep themselves organised.

The bright colours make them majorly appealing and easy to spot in a cloakroom full of abandoned bags.

One other great attribute is the fact that only a limited number are made, so you are really left with something individual.

With a fair few designs a simply can’t pick a favourite. What is yours?

Illuminating Camp Bestival With Five Boys Clothing

Before we left for Camp Bestival the lovely Sophia at Five Boys Clothing offered to send us a fabulous interactive glow t-shirt by Illuminated Apparel.

I just knew this quirky t-shirt  was going to be the perfect item to take away to a festival and show it off during the crazy evenings.

The t-shirt come with a UV keyring that you can us to write on the large panel at the front to bring out the fab neon colour.

The keyring is attached to a lanyard which is easy to hang around your neck so it doesn’t get lost but you can also use your mobile phone or a lazer pen to create your patterns.

There was a little bit of arguing over this t-shirt as everyone wanted to have a go and we got stopped several times by people telling us how cool it was!

As well as looking great it keeps the kids amused which is always a bonus in my book.

We opted for the black but this t-shirt is also available in blue which would look just as good.

The sizing goes all the way up to aged 12- 14 and my usually mega fussy teen said he would have loved one.

All in all this really is more than just a t-shirt and worth getting just for the five minutes peace alone!
