capturing memories as we make them
After a weekend of arguments and temper tantrums with the youngest two I was kind of dreading going to Hever Castle today.
Luckily they must have worn themselves out yesterday and we had a near perfect day with this picture being one of my favourite moments.
For ages I have been meaning to take a trip to Knole House in Sevenoaks, and with it being such a beautiful autum day we took a trip to try and find some of their infamous deer.
We weren’t disappointed as there were herds of them everywhere we turned and we were all astounded by the beautiful, majestic creatures.
Number four was the bravest and spend the afternoon trying to get in for a cuddle and wasn’t even put off when a stag came charging for him at one point!
Yes we went not realising it was rutting season and stags should be kept at a safe distance!
I think the winter blues have set in already for me and I hate this inbetweeny time of year where the fun of the summer has ended and the excitement of Halloween and Christmas has not yet begun.
My Sunday Photo this week is a colourful reminder of all the fun we have had.
Since starting blogging eating out has become a little different to how it used to be.
We go to quite a few restaurant reviews and so obviously pictures need to be taken and sometimes it takes a little longer than the kids would like.
We went to review afternoon tea at sketch last week I was having a real problem as I only had my phone and the lightly was very dim.
I think number three had had enough of me messing about with these cakes by the little photobomb!
This week I have chosen this snap to add to My Sunday Photo with Photalife.
I was attempting to get a picture of number four enjoying his crab sticks by the sea whilst on our trip to Margate this week. He wasn’t happy with me interrupting him so this is how it turned out and I actually quite like it!

As photography is a real passion of mine this has been one I’ve really missed and something I’m going to commit to regularly from now on.

This weekend we went to a wonderful village fair that we attend every year.
On the way out we came across this super cool Ford Escort Mexico that both my son and I feel in love with.
Would be way to impractical for a family of seven though!
Fruit picking is one of my favourite summer activities.
Out enjoying the weather and teaching the children where the food they eat comes from.
One of my favourite this is the children running around in the open air taking in everything our beautiful countryside has to offer.
